The digitization of financial processes has accelerated worldwide, but there is still work to be done… and that’s a good thing!<\/p>

According to an analysis by the McKinsey Global Institute, with current technologies, approximately 40% of financial processes can be fully automated<\/strong>, and an additional 17\u201319% can be largely automated<\/strong>. This means that more than half of financial operations could potentially be automated using technological solutions. (McKinsey & Company<\/a>)<\/p>

In practice, however, most companies are still far from achieving this. According to a McKinsey CFO Pulse survey, only 1%<\/strong> of companies<\/b> have automated more than three-quarters of their financial processes<\/strong>, meaning that most organizations still have significant room for improvement. (cfo.com<\/a>) <\/p>

At the same time, the trend is clear: financial executives are increasingly turning to technological solutions. According to a 2024 Gartner study, 58% of financial organizations<\/strong> already use some form of AI or automation solution<\/strong>, and for many organizations, intelligent process automation is the most important area of application. There is also strong demand for further automation among finance professionals. According to an industry survey , more than 73% of finance professionals would like their companies to invest more in automation solutions<\/strong> to reduce manual administrative work. (Klippa<\/a>) <\/p>

There is a clear business rationale behind these technology investments. According to a<\/strong> McKinsey study<\/strong>, 85% of CFOs expect AI and automation to significantly reduce manual data analysis<\/strong> while improving data utilization and decision-making.
